The legend of Zoka is back as the host of a SlayerTNT!

In case you didn’t know Zoka is one of the O.G.’s bringing to the table with some of the earliest barista competitors and champions representing the USA. The birthing place for coffee community and nurtured culture a.k.a the Barista Guild of America.  Not to mention the incubator of many coffee professionals we know and learn from today, (far too many to list)…Zoka is kind of a big deal friends!

True to their namesake a rebirth, Zoka cafes have undergone some beautiful upgrades and remodels in their cafes. Seattle Summer nights just got a little hotter as we team up with  Zoka Greenlake for our first ever collaboration, a SlayerTNT,  hosted by Zoka Coffee Roasters.

AUG 10TH | 6:30 DOORS OPEN | 7PM COMPETITION BEGINS

Zoka Coffee, Greenlake

2200 North 56th Street, Seattle Washington.

32 competitors, in a head to head, elimination style competition.  showcasing their very best latte art pouring skills judged by a calibrated team of qualified judges. Competitors buy of $20 fees shared amongst the top three along with a BIG CASH Slayer boost of $500 paid directly to the 1st Place winner!

Additional prizes sponsored by our friends at Baratza Grinders with a Virtuoso Grinder (1st place), Acaia Scales special edition Pearl Gold (2nd place) and a super custom, very rare Slayer tamper (3rd place).

On the hour door prizes for guests, raffle tickets at the door!

Event Day Details for competitors:

Limit four competitors per company. Competing baristas must arrive and check in at the door with i.d. and your confirmation receipt, no substitutes, savies or placeholders. Doors open for all guests and competitor roll call at 6:30PM.

6:45  any additional “no-show” slots will be filled by the walk-in, standby list in the order by which you arrived. Competition starts at 7PM sharp! Cash and prizes will be awarded the evening of the event.
