Slayer Espresso Announces Trade-In Program to Global Clientele
Business Owners Eligible for Discounted Upgrades to New Equipment

Seattle, Washington, USA: Sending a message of gratitude to its first customers, espresso machine manufacturer Slayer announced a trade-in program this week, which will replace old equipment with their newest model. Owners of first- and second-generation Slayer machines are being invited to upgrade to the newer “V3” at a discount of more than 50% off the market price.

Hundreds of cafes on 5 continents are eligible to participate in the program, which will relieve business owners of many maintenance responsibilities that older machines require of them. “Our early adopters and longtime clients show a total commitment to Slayer – they believe in what we’re doing,” stated CEO and creator Jason Prefontaine. “This is how we can say ‘thanks’, by creating an opportunity for them to more fully enjoy the Slayer experience in this version of the machine.”

Like many retro machines and several of today’s popular models, Slayer versions 1 and 2 feature group heads using mechanical valves. However, these components are known to require an arduous maintenance schedule. In 2013, Slayer developed a new grouphead based on electronic valves and released version 3 as the first analog-style espresso machine with dependability at its core.

Slayer V3 is rated to 1,000,000+ grouphead activations and also offers numerous other updates, including improved temperature and pressure readings, redesigned steam wand tips, and a larger workspace. Under the terms of the trade-in program, a 2-group Slayer V3 is priced at $8,000 USD plus shipping and the 3-group, $9,500 USD plus shipping. Eligible Slayer owners may enroll by contacting their local or regional distributor. Trade-ins will be accepted through December 31, 2015.
